Waiter/Waitress
Purpose
To ensure that all Restaurant customers are welcomed in a polite and efficient manner. Delivering the highest service and standard throughout the duration of their visit to Rocco’s.
About You
- Experience preferred but not essential
- Rocco’s requires lively, fun and enthusiastic staff members who will deliver quick efficient and exceptional service at all times.
- You understand the requirements of working in a late night venue. The hours that you will be required to work - Weekends, late nights, Bank & Seasonal Holidays.
About the Position
- To ensure the Restaurant is prepared for service, fully stocked with napkins, cutlery condiments etc...
- If working on a till point, to ensure that all monies received are accurately counted and the customers’ change carefully prepared.
- To serve drinks, food and sundries and receive monies paid in exchange for good sold.
- To Serve customers in a polite friendly and efficient manner, introducing yourself and maintaining a constant but unobtrusive relationship with diners
- To familiarize yourself with the Main & Specials menu when necessary.
- To work as a member of your team, providing help and assistance as required.
- To ensure that all bar and customer areas are cleaned up after hours in advance of the next operational session.
- To ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene of all work surfaces, customer areas and equipment at all times.
- To ensure that you adhere to safety precautions and procedures are observed by all staff at all times.
- To refer any serious customer complaints to management.
- To report any accident, defect or damage to equipment or management immediately.
- To maintain an exceptional standard of customer service, cleanliness and personal hygiene at all times.
- To attend all staff training and development sessions as scheduled.
In addition to these duties and responsibilities, the Waitress is required to carry out any other duties required by management.
